In Germany, a statutory betting tax of 5% is levied on every sports bet placed. This regulation applies to all licensed providers – including Tipico.

You can see the deducted amount transparently on your bet slip.

You place €10 on a bet. The tax is €0.50, your effective stake is €9.50.
