What does 2-Way mean in sports betting?

With a 2‑way bet, you bet on either the home team (1) or the away team (2) — a draw (X) is not available as a betting option.

🔎 Important distinction:

1. 2‑Way Bets WITH Overtime Included

If no draw (X) is offered and the market is not marked as H2H, then:

➡️ Overtime is included in the settlement of the bet.

This is common in sports like basketball or ice hockey.

2. Head‑to‑Head (H2H) – also 2‑way, but settled differently

H2H is a 2‑way market, but:

  • Only the regular playing time counts (including stoppage time)
  • If the match ends in a draw → your stake is refunded
  • Overtime is NOT included

➡️ H2H is 2‑way, but without overtime and with refund on draw.
