The Yearly Data Accuracy Check (YDAC) is an annual verification process that all digital users in Germany must complete. Its purpose is to ensure that your address information remains accurate and up to date.
When does it take place?
The YDAC is triggered once every year following your initial verification or your most recent YDAC. When you log in, you will see a notification asking you to either confirm or update your address details.
What happens if you do not complete the YDAC?
After 365 days, your account will be deactivated and display the message “Data accuracy check pending”.
You can easily reactivate your account by completing the YDAC during your next login.
How do I complete the check?
Please confirm that your details are correct.
Log out of your account completely (simply closing the browser window is not sufficient).
Log in again.
Confirm your information using the pop-up message displayed during login.
Once completed, you can continue using your account as usual.
What happens after the YDAC?
If your details are successfully confirmed:
Your account remains active.
Your next YDAC will be due in 365 days.
If your details cannot be confirmed:
Your account will be deactivated.
Your verification status will be reset.
You will need to complete the full verification process again using our online verification tools.
